Aera YEAR OF THE KEYS 2026 BOOTCAMP – Terms & Conditions

Promotion Overview
Information on how to enter and the prize are part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in the Year of the Keys Bootcamp (“Promotion”) is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. All times stipulated in these Terms and Conditions are based on New Zealand Standard Time (NZST) or New Zealand Daylight Time (NZDT) as the case requires.
Eligibility
This Promotion is only open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over.
The following are ineligible: (i) employees (and their immediate family) of the Promoter, Aera 22 Opco Limited (“Aera”). Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
To be eligible to receive the grand prize, the participant must successfully purchase their first home using Aera’s services, including signing a Sale and Purchase Agreement facilitated by Aera and completing settlement on that property.

Promotion Period
This Promotion commences at 7:00 AM NZST on 26/12/2025 and ends at 11:59 PM NZST on 13/02/2026 (“Promotion Period”).
How to Enter
To enter this Promotion, eligible individuals must, during the Promotion Period, undertake the following steps:
• Be an active member of Aera and completed their member profile in the app.
• Opt-in to the bootcamp using the banner on the app home screen
In order to be eligible for the grand prize draw, a participant must opt-in to the bootcamp prior to the launch webinar and commencement of tasks (14 January 2026 and 19 January 2026 respectively).
Completion of bootcamp tasks and entry into the Promotion does not guarantee receipt of the grand prize. Participation grants eligibility only and is subject to the additional conditions set out in these Terms and Conditions, including the requirement to purchase a property with Aera.

Process
Once entered into this Promotion, the following steps will be used to establish the promotion winner and prize fulfilment:
• Participants must complete each bootcamp task on the day it is published to be eligible for any prize draw.
• One (1) provisional grand prize winner will be selected from eligible participants at the conclusion of the Promotion Period.
• Selection as the provisional grand prize winner does not guarantee receipt of the prize.
In order to receive the grand prize, the provisional winner must:
• Purchase their first home using Aera’s services.
• Sign a Sale and Purchase Agreement facilitated by Aera.
• Complete settlement on the property.
• Have physically moved into the purchased property.
The grand prize will only be fulfilled once all of the above conditions have been met. If the provisional winner does not complete a purchase with Aera within a reasonable timeframe determined by Aera, Aera reserves the right to withdraw the prize or award it to another eligible participant.

Limits on entry
One entry per person will be permitted for the grand prize entry. This is for any participants who have completed all tasks on the day they're published for all 26 days of the bootcamp.
Where a spot prize draw is held during the bootcamp period, participants who complete the required task on that day will be automatically entered into the draw.

ANNOUNCEMENT DETAILS
The promotion will close on 13/2/2026 at 11:59 PM NZST at the Aera NZ offices, Auckland, New Zealand.
The winner will be notified via phone and email within five (5) business days of the close. The winner’s details (first initial, surname, and suburb) will be published via the Aera NZ website and social media channels after notification.

Prize
The grand prize is a bundle of home specific items (The "Rent is Dead" prize pack) worth over NZD $7,500, which includes the following:
1. $2,000 IKEA voucher to kit out your space.
2. 85” Panasonic 4K TV ready to switch on.
3. 2-seater sofa + dining suite so you’re not living on boxes.
4. Coffee machine + air fryer for day-one fuel.
5. Dyson vacuum to keep the place clean from the jump.
Within the Promotion Period there is one (1) grand prize on offer.

There will also be smaller spot prizes of various values spread throughout the promotion period.

The winner is responsible for any tax implications arising from winning the prize and should seek independent financial advice before accepting the prize.
