What is Bank fit?

Banks can be picky on who they give home loans too.

Working with an Aera Financial Coach, we go through your accounts and structure them to what banks like to approve.

This has to be done in advance of approaching banks, as they like to see a history of transactions and positive actions.

Each day, we deal with the major banks in New Zealand and know how far we can push them.

Also, our members would have worked with a First Home Coach. So their accounts are dripping with the positive information that ticks all the boxes for banks.

They want to lend to our members, offering the lowest rates because they’re seen as great investments.

What is Mortgage ready?

Do you have the right stream of income to cover your outgoing expenses? Getting this right is Mortgage Ready. It’s proving to a bank that you are ready to cover the mortgage payments.

We all spend money on things we don’t always need.

At Aera, we want to help you focus on your need to own your first house.

To do this, we hook you up with a First Home Coach.

They take your budget for a work-out, making suggestions and pushing you to think outside the box.

To help you spend less and earn more.

Doing the heavy lifting now will cuts years off building that deposit.

Frequently asked questions

Is Aera a bank?

No, Aera isn’t a bank, we are so much more. We’re your First Home Faster team. We help you with all aspects of getting a first home. From saving, to coaching, to finding a home to buying it, and everything in between. Our founders used to work in banking so they know all the ins and outs and what banks look for in approving first home buyers like you. Banks make you jump through hoops to lend you money for a home, Aera does whatever it takes to help you get that home.

Are there fees to join Aera?

There are no fees. As a company we make our profit from getting people like you into your first home. But we share what we make, to get you a leg-up to get you to your front door faster. So the more successful we are at helping, the more successful we will be as a company.

Do I have to pay extra for the Team Members to help me?

There are no hidden costs to our members. Membership is free as we want to help and educate more Kiwis to get into their first homes. We earn profit through commissions, which we split with our members so they can build a deposit faster.

How can this be a free service?

Nothing’s free in life, but it doesn’t cost you to use Aera. As a company, we make money through commissions to get Kiwis into their first homes. What makes us different is that we share these commissions from banks, insurance companies and home builders with our members. The more you use Aera, the more we can help you with up to $10,000 towards your first home. When we help you cross the finish line, we all win together.
